Terms & Conditions of Hire of Apartments

1. Period of Hire.

Letting commences at 2pm on the day of arrival and terminates at 10am on the day of departure; alternative arrival/departure times MAY be possible, by prior arrangement.

The apartment is let for holiday or corporate temporary residential purposes only and only to the persons named on the Booking Form.


2. Booking and payment.

PROVISIONAL BOOKING:

Clients may make preliminary enquiries by telephone or email; availability will be advised by the Letting Agents by telephone or email. At this stage if the Client agrees to a booking, booking details must be advised and payment of a deposit must be made - see below.


BOOKING DETAILS: LetsintheCity.co.uk will forward a Booking Confirmation, based on information provided by the Client.


All bookings made require credit card details to guarantee the reservation and all bookings are payable to the full amount immediately.


PAYMENT: Payment may be made by credit card. All bookings made are only guaranteed when the payment is made in full.


DEPOSIT: The full amount payable is the guarantee of the booking and therefore there is no deposit.


DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Clients may be asked to cover the cost of excessive damage or bad housekeeping - regarding “Care of the Property, Breakage or Damage”. There is no deposit against possible damages, however the credit card details provided on booking may be used to secure the renumeration necessary to cover repair or replacement of damaged property.

All of our apartments are STRICTLY NON SMOKING any guests found breaking this rule will be charged £100 fee.


LOST PROPERTY: Property taken from the apartments will need to be replaced and the costs will be taken against the card details used for booking.


Keys to the apartments and security fobs for door entry or car parking facility will incur a charge of £50 minimum if they need to be replaced. If a locksmith is required, thier cost of this will be covered by the guest.

If guests lose keys and a call-out is required to give guests access to the property then the following call-out charges apply.

3. Cancellation by Client.

Should a cancellation be made by the Client, LetsintheCity.co.uk will seek to re-let the property for the period of hire. If successful in doing so, a refund will be made (less the Deposit and any other costs incurred in re-letting); if LetsintheCity.co.uk are unable to re-let the apartment, the full amount paid at the time of cancellation will be forfeited by the Client.


Cancellation by the client MUST be in writing, either by post or email. An acknowledgement of receipt of a cancellation will be issued by LetsintheCity.co.uk by post or email; if such acknowledgement is not received by the Client, then cancellation will NOT be deemed to have taken place.


4. Cancellation by LetsintheCity.co.uk

If the apartment cannot be made available for the period booked due to events beyond our control, the whole of the hire charge will be refunded and the Client will have no claim against LetsintheCity.co.uk

Clients are strongly advised to take out a Holiday Cancellation

Insurance Policy.


5. Services.

Electricity and gas for heating, lighting and cooking, one set of bed linen and one set of towels per person are included in the rental cost.


For longer stays (more than 7 nights) a change of bed linen and towels will occur once a week.

6. Bookings

There is no administration charges or hidden costs in booking directly through this website.
